Explained all of this before. I have a subscription, the more films I watch the cheaper each film is. And at heart I'm a film fan first and foremost and a hater second. Everything deserves a chance and despite my open criticism of Nolan’s filmmaking he's not trash, just his blind sheep fanbase.continue to pay money to a director you think is shyt, during a pandemic no less, euro brehs
Make excuses for why you break your neck to be the first to see a film from a director you don’t respect, during a pandemic no less, to try to impress other people who dislike Nolan on a messageboard, euro brehsExplained all of this before. Also, just because you guys live in a hellhole of disease and fascism doesn't mean others aren't living in relative normalcy. Me going to Tenet isn't any different than me going to any of the other 20 films I've seen since June in any of my usual theaters. The only people "risking lives" to see this are you fools talking about traveling cross country for this when over a 1,000 people are dying daily.
Regarding the cast, I have no idea where the praise for Washington and Pattinson comes from. They have nothing to work with and at best you can say they do a good job of doing their job. All the heavy lifting is done by Elizabeth Debicki and Kenneth Branagh. I'm very curious about Debicki's career trajectory because it feels like there's almost no place in Hollywood for a 6ft 3in actress who towers over every male (some of the supposed-to-be threatening henchmen look like goddamn midgets next to her) but you can't argue against her talent.
So it wasn't just me. I thought I was in a shytty theaterJust watched it and nolan needs to fix his audio mixing. Damn everything just sounded jumbled, it was difficult to hear important dialogue at certain points.
I need to watch it again because the plot points were so scattered.

I need to see this again because I didn't really get it at all. Time travel flicks usually have me confused anyway but this was a bit much for me. It was just ok to me.
OAN this was the quickest a film has ever started for me. 7:30 showtime and the movie started at 7:34. A Coke commercial and 2 beer commercials then I thought I was watching a trailer but it was the actual film. 1st time never seeing trailers.
It will be, its the movie itselfhow was the theater experiencE? I'm seeing this in Dolby so hopefully audio isn't an issue.
Just came out of the cinema (in London). Got absolutely no idea of what it is I just watched. The audio is horrible, too. Felt like my eardrums were going to burst during the opening scene.
