I don't think he'll get switched out of lead. I do worry about Pattinson (new Batman) stealing his thunder and having the more interesting role. I don't get Finn vibes from this so I think JDW is going to do well.
Its just up in the air a bit right now cause you know if Denzel, Will Smith or even a MIchael B. Jordan wouldn't get upstaged. But I'm hopeful for JDW.

I think Sam Mendes showed how to work within the system they have while also doing what you want and telling your story. As long as you’re not doing anything radical, like trying to kill the character, you have latitude. Nolan would be fine
