I'm sure they not gone for good and this kid has all kinds of powers/tricks for next season. Truthfully I was kind of tired of Cass especially after he fukked up playing God that season. Remember he said he had faith so I'm sure he'll be back.

Well at least we know what to expect with Season 13:

*Sam and Dean dealing with Lucifer Jr.
*Will Lucifer find a way to escape Earth 2 like he escaped the cage?
*Since Mick mentioned the bunker key can open ANY bunker they gonna discover another bunker
*Is Cas and Crowley really dead? Will Rowena have another way to revive herself?
*3 prince/princesses of hell are dead and one is left... most likely he'll appear
*Who's gonna be the new king of hell?
*Exactly what type monster/demon/god/angel is left for Sam and Dean to kill?
*Will Chuck and Amara reappear to meet Lucifer Jr?
*Exactly how in the blue hell Sam and Dean gonna solve a mystery with Scooby fukkin' Doo?

Can't wait for next season

Cas ran at Lucifer with that angel blade confident as hell so he knew something from that future vision he had... so you may be right about Cas returning
