He may have but try to go the buddy route with the trickery... plus that was the era where Crowley lowkey wanted to be part of the Winchester family. Now we got Crowley not giving a fukk about anyone and with him KNOWING that Lucifer will kill him and with the enhanced help of the Book of the Damned plans are modifedWould that have worked on Dean though?
