No they all had wings that how they traveled.... at least they did until Metatron stole Cas's grace and use it for a spell kicking all of the angels out of heaven making most of them mortal. I believe only some of them got their powers and wings back but that spell did long term damage that Cas got the blame forAren't they all wingless
