I feel like this means Rock is showing up for Mania, there is nowhere else to go with this and it seems like they’re keeping it going for a reason, that has to be the reason

They don’t deserve the benefit of the doubt and haven’t for a long time. It’s been obvious since 2015 the plan with Roman is he stays on top until he’s done and they’ll try to bend everything else to fit that. There’s no endgame or long term plan. Just a lot of swerves, run in finishes that make nobody look good in the end, and no top face to build the show around. This isn’t the first time they’ve false advertised in some capacity for a Roman title match at summerslam either so you can’t trust anything they say they’re gonna do. They’re still hoping for a rock vs Roman title match as if it makes any sense to have the rock in his early 50’s and having not wrestled in a decade (and having not been a full time guy in over 21 years now) challenge for the belt. That shyt isn’t satisfying and the match damn sure won’t be good.

That match felt like a meeting that could have been an email but ended up taking 45 minutes and didn't accomplish shyt.

We can say the same about most AEW matches.

I hate to say it but the Bloodline story is now. I don’t even blame the people in the story…it’s whoever is booking this shyt. They had a rare opportunity to end it perfectly but now its starting to turn to shyt.

I'm starting to think they've run out of ideas on how to get to WrestleMania from here. It seems obvious they want Cody vs. Roman II but it's still like 7 months away.

Filler War ate up like 4 months. All they need is to prop up some decent contenders, War Games, etc..
