Roman vs Brock has happened mad times but we ain't ever seen it in this capacity

there's a lot of interesting aspects to it this time around, Paul is with Reigns instead of Brock, Reigns is in the middle of a dominant reign with an excellent gimmick, Brock appears to have a new look as well

it's a fact most people wanted to see Lesnar/Lashley but LesnarReigns in 2021 should be good too all things considered

I'd argue they were outshined considering this is the second biggest show of the year, and no one will be talking about it in 48 hours. Nobody's talking about Rampage (outside of Punk) either, but Punk's return is going down in history for sure. I don't have a horse in the race. Just calling it like i see it. Show, and surprise returns could've been WAY better.

If you want to know just how bad of a decision taking the belt off of Bianca was, notice that no one is complaining about Chuck winning again. The show was going along great until Becky returned and ruined everything, but Cena & Reigns & Lesnar sent the fans home happy.

As for Naomi. I don't think that would illicit a big reaction for the crowd unfortunately.

Obviously not, But I'd rather see another black woman beat Bianca in an upset instead of the played out man gimmick.

What was weirder was that throughout that match, the crowd was into CHHHuck (first time I said that in the thread...holy shyt!) and popped for the victory.

I agree, even though i think they could of executed way better in certain areas tonight, i agree with you.

People give him shyt for his super Cena run, but Cena has always been a company man and very willing to put other younger talent over.

Some past guys from the old school of his caliber weren’t as willing to put those guys over.

The show as a whole though is what i'm saying won't be talked about 48 hours from now. The returns of course will (definitely not for months though breh). Punks return even if if his run flops (which it possibly can) will definitely be bought up years from now though. Brock, and Becky's won't. But then again Punk was gone for 7 years so it's not really comparable. Wouldn't be surprised if the E expediated things with Brock, and Becky because of Punk.

Yeah you are right. they are not comparable to Punk return with that 7 year buildup, but they did create a huge buzz to get people talking regardless. In the long run, gotta see if it works out or not. I know people gonna watch for Brock/Reigns and the Becky/Bianca situation though. Plus Brock always draw for the casual wrestling fan all the time.

As quiet as it's kept, Becky started to become grating and annoying at some point. I even turned on her for a while until she announced her pregnancy, which was the first time in a while that she felt like an actual, relatable human being and not a persona.

Whatever goodwill she might have built up in the last year or so was snuffed out in thirty seconds for nothing. To paraphrase The Miz, she's just another version of Charlotte with an annoying Irish accent.
