Finale was a bit back and forth but it was alright in the grand scheme of things. Suits already planning for a June release in Season 3. I think they know the show isn't good enough to have a year long hiatus from our screens.

yeah I know what you mean. I liked his character in season 1 having some teeth, really getting at people in the firm & how they were actually scared of him. Season 2, mostly part 2 of season 2, had him as more of a joke / comic relief. I hope this summer he gets at some people with some venom

so you think Harvey wouldn't have his back?...do you watch the show?...Harvey goes to bat and finds his way out of sticky situations all the time...ESPECIALLY when it's his ass on the line....and don't think for a second his ass wouldn't be on the line if Mike goes down....he's got a vested interest...he hired him while knowing...honestly...if you would backstab your friend to keep yourself out of bad situation that shows me your true colors.
Harvey would have his back but if Jessica went through with what she said she was going to do... Mike and Harvey would be fukked
I can't fault Mike for doing what he did cause at the end of the day he saved both of their asses.

Harvey has contacts in the DA high up as hell...we've already seen this in the show...you don't think he could've pulled strings just as big as Jessica?
Jessica continues to have Harvey do all the work for her...everytime she's on a case it's Harvey having to do the actual work...I don't think that she can lawyer her way out of a paper bag....we've actually seen Harvey go in...there's no evidence to suggest Jessica could actual win a legal battle with Harvey...she might...but on the show...she's never shown and proved
she "beat" Harvey this time...because Mike got scared and curled up like a little girl...if Mike doesn't back down what's she gonna do??...the merger would be toast...and she'd have Harvey and Mike coming at her neck...she'd have to sink her own firm and she's shown time and time again she cares more about her firm than anything else...she wouldn't go through with it...it's a bluff...and Mike should've called her on it
plus from a television show standpoint...the show IS the Mike-Harvey dynamic...now that is almost shattered beyond repair...if Harvey ever trusts Mike again it will be a HUGE stretch...we've seen too much evidence that Harvey doesn't budge in these situations when he feels betrayed...and for their dynamic to be entertaining they need to have each others backs and trust each other...I just don't see how they get there without breaking one of the characters...but we'll see.

that's a good point...didn't look at it that way...but I'm just not a fan of messing with the Harvey-Mike dynamic like that...I don't care about any of the other characters enough for me to keep coming back to the show...so the writers better find a plausible way to fix that.
