Usually I don't complain too much about how someone uses technology but Tom could have face timed or video called what was going on vs him just asking them to pass the phone around

I know that type of thing would have instantly killed the fakeout speculation of the episode but irl and I got a call about my mom passing in the hospital and the nurses said if I couldn't make it in time to video call them to sort of say my goodbyes doing it over the phone like that just seems so impersonal

Can you video call in the air? I know it’s illegal on commercial flights but I don’t know if the FAA has rules on private flights

wow halfway thru…I have no idea how I avoided spoilers especially since I started it late…friend text me out the blue asking if I saw tonight’s episode just as I was about to sit down and watch…immediately texted back “no spoilers” and got off the phone lol…plus I noticed this thread was jumping like crazy so I knew I was gonna be in for a great ep…wasn’t expecting THIS tho…this is definitely gonna get the show some emmy nods…has to.

The only thing that sucks is now Brian Cox isn't gonna get an Emmy for this role, which Is a travesty

I don’t think it’s illegal, and I’m sure billionaires don’t give af about FAA regulations, especially in an emergency situation.

However, Tom’s service was pretty shytty, so FaceTimeing may not have been an option.
