ya I was a little bit disappointed in how much his character was neutered this ep…I understand the dynamic between him and willow but this felt different…she was too much in control…like I know dude is stupid but not THIS stupid.

to be clear in the show no one really makes it clear if succession is just an HBO show in their world or if ken exists in their universe. it's a line left open to interpretation


that being said i'd give it another chance. it's like succession meets euphoria in my eyes

not exactly on the level of either, but a solid 4/5 if youre looking for entertaining shyt to watch

Roman summed it up perfectly at the end. They’re all bullshyt. The ending was a big fukk you to all the fans who were team this person or team that person like it was Game of Thrones or something lol. People mad that Kendall didn’t get it when he showed you exactly why it shouldn’t be him when he threw a literal temper tantrum and had a breakdown in front of everyone

They’re not serious people and the ending reflected it. They’re all emotionally unintelligent fukk ups who make business moves out of spite, pettiness and the need to gain their father’s respect. Roman is the only one with any kind of self awareness while Kendall and Shiv deluded themselves into thinking they were just practicing good business.

It’s not quite as polarizing but I think the ending will age similarly to the Sopranos finale where plenty of people will hate it but then after rewatched and reflections realize it was the best way they could’ve ended it

Even Logan didn't deserve it, as in he had his faults and was a crazy tyrant
He just had it

it wasn't that unrealistic to me that they were getting rid of the furniture, willa going trash whore interior decorator tho is just par for the course.

It's kinda weird to see everyone end up like this but it was the only way.

Logan died suddenly on a plane toliet, Connor's wife is trying to separate, and the mother straight up had her kids agree she was bad.

The siblings always hated each other and as Logan said they were not serious people as well.

But you kinda wanted to see one of them win. And I don't know if it's the Game of Thrones affect of hashtag team this or that. Or more like Mafia films to want to see the villian we spend so much time with come out on top.

Kendall was abusive and childish, Shiv was arrogant and manipulative, and Roman was just a straight dikk.

But the show being part comedy sometimes hid how awful all these people were. Those 3 could give the stooges, Always Sunny trio, etc. are run for their money when they get together. Making people laugh can sure cover up a lot of flaws.

Mattison and Tom ain't shyt either but they've always been about their business, none of that petty bs.

I didn’t say it was unrealistic. And they only get what they are allowed by the person who opened it. It doesn’t matter because Connor has already gotten everything he wanted during his “Private Round”. That tells you everything you need to know. Connor didn’t just buy the house, he bought the estate. That comes with everything in it. He’s only doing this because he got what he wanted to keep and everything else is shyt he doesn’t care about. If he did, he would’ve taken it.
