Yeah, that's the first thought, but like others have been saying, the show really highlights how a lot of these rich guys our fukking idiots.

Other shows would have this be some master, think 38 steps ahead of everyone. But more than likely, Mattson is just a terrible fukking person that publicly antagonizes the one person that could completely ruin him because he's a dumb ass.

That was exactly what I was thinking. Cause it still didn't make full sense to me him trusting Shiv that much to reveal the blood story and to trust that she's not just using him for inside info. I still think Ebba was in cahoots with him and gave up the India info to see if it makes it back to Mattison. That's also why they've made the public show of embarrassing her to make the Roy's think they could use her for info. Something about the look she gave when they brought up him sending her stuff let her know that Shiv was still working with the guys and playing both sides. Could just be way off but that all seemed so convenient.
