The axe murderer
For I am death and I ride on a pale horse
I dont remember a scene in television history that made me like that presentation
That kendall presentation reminded me of theranos bullshyt............ shyt looked all good shares were going up the investors were all in and now later on broad going to jailPeople last week were talking about how the kids worked together to play Matsson into making that offer what show have y'all been watching all these years?
Kendall: 'Good to see you dad'......(Logan on screen)
It's sad to see Rome falling apart and nobody can comfort him
Yeah he pulled it off for now but Kendall still on his goofy shyt and looking shaky
Roman and Kendall acting like Logan knockoffs
Shiv and Tom back together for the culture
That Logan deepfake and Greg saying that's really well edited
The alliance between the kids was always doomed to fail, Logan did a number on them, if they don't love themselves how can they love and trust each other
Roman could have used his superior business instincts and rode the wave kendall was on but he got scared by the obvious incompetence but somehow kendall pulled it off anyway when the episode was teeing up for another flop from him.
That type of plot swerve shows you that they are all terrible for the job and really only blind circumstance is leading to any of them succeeding
Shiv and Mattson literally blatantly trying to force a deal for the benefit of everyone while kendall and roman are acting erratic af and nobody questions anything because they hold the power
idk low key they might just let these two dumb fukks run wild just to show how stupid the corporate world can be if you have enough money and protection
I’m honestly still not sure what Kendall is selling, state of teh art houses that preserve your life??
just finished the episode and post episode commentary.
i still don’t know what exactly living plus is
what in the metaverse is this "living+"????
I think there's a 50/50 chance the show might end up this way...Either:
a) Kendall's stupid plan succeeds because in this world someone as privileged as him wins in the end no matter how incompetent he is
or
b) The show ends with Kendall in jail like Elizabeth Holmes
It's basically just a retirement community run by a theme park company.
BUT, Kendall is trying to use "Theranos"-style hype to make it sound like "Black Mirror" San Junipero-level technology to allow your grandparents to live forever. Its extreme Silicon Vally/"Fake it till you make it" BS hype tactics. Selling the dream of having grandpa live forever, while in reality you're putting grandpa in the world's most expensive nursing home.
But, because the tech investors are dumb, they're allowing themselves to buy into the hype. At least for long enough to (temporarily) push the stock price up higher than Gojo is willing to pay. If Kendall can keep the stock price up for long enough, then he has an excuse to NOT sell the company to Gojo. Then buyout deal falls apart and his "interim" CEO title becomes permanent. That's his goal...he doesn't care if the stock price crashes again once the hype wears off because at that point he runs the company.
I guarantee this show will get like a sort of open ended sopranos ending or probably end on Logan's funeral
Too many plotlines going in the background for it to all be resolved in 3- 4 eps
Roman/Kendall as CEBros
Shiv and Tom divorce
Gojo sale or deal broken
Roman spiraling out
Connor presidential run
None of this can be resolved so concretely in the next few days the show will take place over
