Usually I don't complain too much about how someone uses technology but Tom could have face timed or video called what was going on vs him just asking them to pass the phone around

I know that type of thing would have instantly killed the fakeout speculation of the episode but irl and I got a call about my mom passing in the hospital and the nurses said if I couldn't make it in time to video call them to sort of say my goodbyes doing it over the phone like that just seems so impersonal

i think they kinda alluded to it being the airline crew. Right when they were breaking the news to the kids that it may have been leaked one of them stewerdesses popped up thru the door and they all just looked at her like "of course". Honestly it could be any and everybody...they're in the news business. Doesnt really matter though.
