It's 2:30 am where I'm at now too. The fact that you keep trying to sling insults shows how weak your argument is. I work for myself. I've worked my ass off to be able to afford my own schedule. Your parents should have taught you that. Anyway, you started this by claiming "Biden failed to deliver on his promise to forgive student loan debt." But now that you've been reminded of who actually sued to block broad forgiveness, you've got nothing, so you're flailing to avoid owning your false claim.

I've *recognized and criticized* Biden's role in the 2005 Bankruptcy Act, but that's not the argument here. The argument is: who's responsible for killing broad forgiveness, and who delivered relief despite it. You still haven't answered that, because you can't.

So here's the gauntlet: either engage with reality or just admit you were never serious about debt relief. You don't really have to do this, because we both know how embarrassingly unserious you are as a person. You just needed an excuse to deflect from the fact that the people you supported are the reason the broader plan didn't happen.

Don't act like a bytch now, you came in first with the insults. Let me send you some Prevagen to help with your memory.

Like I said yesterday, Biden failed to deliver on his promise to forgive student loan debt, and it is true. When Biden first came into office, he talked about forgiving student loan debt. Biden had control of the house and senate for 2 years and did not move on his promise to forgive student loan debt. He switched up his initial promises for canceling student loan debt and waited until the last minute to move on his failed promises:

How am I not serious about debt relief? I graduated with a degree in biology, minor in chemistry.

You just want to push a narrative. Citing Briahna Joy Gray's dishonest ass proves this. If he didn't act on his promise, then what were the GOP suing to stop?

He announced a broad student debt forgiveness plan in August 2022, while still in office with a Democratic House and Senate. The plan would have canceled up to $20,000 in student debt for tens of millions of borrowers. It wasn't "last minute." The applications opened in October of the same year.

He didn't "switch up" the promise, either; he used the HEROES Act, the same legal authority Trump used to pause loan payments, as the basis for cancellation.
Now, here' what you want to ignore: Republican attorney generals from red states sued to block it, and a right-wing Supreme Court struck it down in June 2023. That's the *only* reason *that* broader cancellation didn't go through. But they pivoted, and ended up canceling (over 5m) through existing legal pathways, despite all the obstruction.

So no, the issue wasn't delay or a broken promise. The issue was a well-organized Republican effort to kill relief in the courts, and it succeeded. I don't know why people try to ignore how this country works, and that there is a pus and pull force behind almost every decision. And that was no different here.

And having student debt doesn't automatically make you serious about relief, your actions and arguments do. And yours consistently help the very same people who sued to stop it, lied about it, and promised to reverse it. You support the sabotage then pretend to care when it is successful. You're a bad actor. Your motivations override your reason.
