if student loan debt is forgiven, the loans bundled into bonds or other financial products with crappy assets will plummet in value. those bonds or financial products were likely used as collateral to lenders. they will get margin called which could trigger a financial crisis.

As a result, Democrats elected Nancy to be speaker of the House again which tells people it's business as usually. What i am advocating for is that the goverment help the people instead of corporations run by the ultra wealthy. The ultra wealthy that run the banks started the financial crisis, and instead of them holding their L they were saved with taxpayers money. So, what has happen since then? well the ultra wealthy are even richer today and the people are even poorer. They ain't sharing that wealth when see profits, but wanted everybody to pay the cost for their mess.

Education costs has spiraled out of control and what is insane is that a degree is worth less now then it was back in the day (when it was more affordable). Hoe Biden ran on cancelling 10k in student loans, dude got elected and instead of passing it they are now dangling it for the midterms. The disrespect is insane. Can't even hold campaign promises for a measly 10k, but got trillions of dollars to give them rich folk.
