Imagine being the dikkhead who brought forth a case to block students loans and this it doesn’t go through.
The fact that Kavanaugh took this up is a good thing.

He could have declined to hear the case and the 5th and 8th circuit rulings would be final.

Now the government can continue to make the case that the plan is legal and that the people who brought the suit don’t have standing and are not damaged by the policy.

It’s going to be an uphill climb. If we can get Roberts and one of the 3 Trump justices to say these folks don’t have standing, it’ll be game on

But if they do find standing then they may get their right wing claws and destroy the HERO’s Act

this shyt probably getting struck down :francis:

Student loan forgiveness could fall through for 30 million borrowers

Two of those lawsuits have been successful in halting the Biden administration from canceling hundreds of billions of dollars in student debt. In February, the U.S. Supreme Court will have the final say on if the plan can proceed or not.

The disappointment and financial distress that borrowers will feel if Biden’s forgiveness plan is struck downa likely outcome, according to experts — is likely to be massive.

i really think that was all in the plan...i'm so cynical of our government, i don't think most dems wanted debt relief to go through either, but they get a hell of an optics win from "well...we tried 🤷🏽‍♀️"
I bought a home a year and a half ago, If I lived in a state where I didn’t need a car, I’d be tempted to tell them “suck my dikk, I ain’t payin shyt”
