The Education Department has no access to IRS records (by statute) and therefore any means-testing of student debt is gonna be a logistical nightmare.

I’m getting nervous brehs. I celebrated too early a month back when at least the 10k forgiveness seemed on deck and I would essentially be done.

The extension is cool and all but at some point I just need to know - we getting 10k or nah. This being in limbo shyt ain’t it.

Perhaps a dumb question, but if Biden did cancel 10k do you guys think there's a time cut off for who it applied to? For example, would a current student who took out a loan for this coming year count as a borrower? Ended up having to take out a small loan to get through this last full year of college and if I can somehow get out of that debt with this it'd be a W.
