The characters that have grown the most in the series are Dustin and Steve probably. Its been crazy seeing Steve go from stereotypical 80s bully to an actual character.
This series is also a masterclass in editing. The use of match cuts ratchets up the tension to a 10. I also didn't peep the sheer amount of subtle nods in this season. So far I caught the references to nightmare on elm st., the thing, x men, pretty in pink, and a shoutout to pretty much every cool metal cover album. I don't even have to say what scene it was. If you saw that shyt you know what I'm talking about top 10 moment in Netflix TV history
I think they paid homage to Bruce Campbell too by having hopper get the shyt beat out of him every other scene. Bruh SUFFERED this season
