The season was wack outside of the increased production budget. Yeah I said it 
It's only so many times you can watch Vecna corner someone from the main cast, start to kill them or do whatever and then get thwarted.
It got stale and the season was dragged out like a mf. Like what even the point of the Russia storyline?
Then they change the story to have some crazy cac to be responsible for all of the otherworldly things that's we've seen in the past three seasons
A crazy cac who every time he faces 11 takes an L.

Facts. Just finished the final 2 episodes on a LGC1 and WOWBTW, you're doing yourself a disservice if you're not watching this shyt on a good A/V setup (and mine is nothing crazy). They really raised the bar on this streaming shyt. The Atmos is crazy this season
i damn near shed a tear in the final showdown cuz of how good it looked. inspiring what these artists and cinematographers are pulling off these days.

in season 3 and 4 Will's actor decided to take it all the way with the mannerisms and feelings and the writers went along with it

When you make it clear that certain characters are immune to dying you rob tension and emotional attachment from your own show
It's a show about a supernatural monster killing people. If you don't think certain characters are in danger and you keep pump faking it kills the excitement

It's funny how people who don't watch this show think it's Ready Player One with the references, when they are super subtle about it in reality. The scene with the Demogorgons in test tubes reminded me of Ripley looking at the Xenomorph experiments (wasn't Winona in that movie too?) and Vecna was doing a lot of Pennywise shyt.
