I mean it could be cool i guess but it's mostly gonna be for indie games, most of which are already on the Switch which has become the go to platform for a lot of indie developers. And Switch has the Nintendo exclusives on top of that.

But if you don't have a Switch it seems like a nice option.
I have a Switch and I still want it. And biggest seller for this in my eyes is difficult emulation for shyt like Saturn, GameCube, Wii, Wii U, Switch, PS2, PS3 etc etc. Also with it being RDNA2. Within a few years AMD should already be far into their DLSS solution. U can prolly play more Nintendo games on this thing than the Switch itself and it will run with better performance. Even shyt like BOTW will run 60fps while the damn Switch can barely run it at 30fps without severe frame drops. Take into account the way Nintendo nickel and dimes their customers for every old game they put on the platform. U getting it all free on this thing.

What is the point of this? This shyt is limited in its output not like you can experience PC games to their fullest. It’s as powerful as a PS4 and XB1 which is impressive for a handheld but what does that mean for its internal operation system. Won’t it theoretically have heat issues?

It is a potential challenger for the switch especially with talk of a docking station at a later date but the genius of switch goes beyond hardware. It’s what Nintendo offers in terms of gaming as well as the flexibility of the switch console. Nintendo stopped being about hardware output years ago, don’t get me wrong I am not shytting on this as it is great that console gamers can experience some PC games without owning a PC. Guess I just answered my own question, games like Crusader king 3 can finally be enjoyed without a PC. Once they release the official dock it should make this more of a seller.
You dont know what the fukk you talking about. Heat isnt an issue with this 7nm apu. Go buy your switch and keep it moving. This isnt for you.:camby:

That's nice and all but that's a very niche audience you're talking about. The average customer ain't getting deep into emulation.

I feel like the specs for a handheld device aren't that important, just going by what I want from a handheld experience, it isn't playing big scale AAA games. It's indie stuff, mid to smaller tier games. Stuff like that. I've never played BOTW handheld. Why would I want to do that? Now, that's just me. Others might feel different.

Also I think a major part of the handheld market is kids which Nintendo have wrapped up for the forseeable future.

But it's a cool looking device but i dunno how big it'll be beyond the hardcores. It's not like a lot of PC gamers are gonna wanna play major releases on a handheld.

Why get hostile like a weirdo? I didn’t attack your family so calm down. And if you paid attention instead of becoming immediately outraged you would notice I was asking would it have heat issues not outright stating it would.

True, the switch/wii u emulation angle is a pipe dream, BOTW on cemu is not as stable as people think, most wouldn't consider it playable. Even mgs HD on rpcs3 gave me issues and I have a solid pc. I'm surprised how positive the reception for this thing is, it's gonna go out like the Nvidia shield, will probably grow to be loved by a niche tho like the glorious oled vita.

The whole market for this kinda thing is niche. But for me. Being able to play PS2 games etc etc on the go is a no brainer. And specs DO matter to a point. Like the Switch needs a ram upgrade and an overclock in the LEAST so they can stop having 1st party titles run in the single digits is something everyone notices and complains about. Atleast have ur damn games run the screen resolution at 30fps. People care about this type of shyt. Which is why there has been such an outcry about it. But yes. THIS thing is a niche audience. That goes without being said.

For one. No one with their right brain is thinking it’s gonna beat out Nintendo. U nikkas coming off mad insecure. For one. If u set ur settings right. BOTW runs FAR better than the Switch version. So to say most wouldn’t consider THAT playable is a joke being that the shyt runs sub 30fps at low res on the damn official hardware.
