This is easily the best Star Wars thing since Empire. And not because it pays homage to shyt or "feels like Star Wars" (which is always a weird idea to me since Star Wars is an amalgam of so many different things), but because it explores characters and themes in-depth without forgetting its still a space opera at its core about lasers and space pistols. There's tragedy and heart to this series, especially this season, that's just beautiful.

The moment Ahsoka skydived onto that ship, it hit me that she not only needs whatever they're doing in Madalorian, but her own damn show or movie.

That ending. :wow: The ominous music plus the fact that nobody's saying a word is haunting. It's actually kinda depressing. All those years of excitement and adventure are gone. Evil has taken over and all hope is seemingly lost. The characters we once knew and loved are gone. Scattered to the cold winds.

I am also of the opinion that the end scene takes place after the Star Wars: Rebels episode "Twilight of the Apprentice" hence the symbolism of the bird in the sky.

Cheers, Clone Wars.:salute:

It's a fair take. I'll counter with the Morai also being a reminder there's some good left in him. The bird was the manifestation of the Daughter, the light side of the Force.

Another good point. They kind of played into that with him wanting to tell her something when she came back and then flash forward to their showdown in Rebels and she broke through to him.

Doubling back. Really good call. Just rewatched and those episodes fit perfect with the last three of Clone Wars

Beautiful. None of the movies/live action shows will ever achieve Clone Wars quality and weight. Haven’t felt like this since the first time finishing Cowboy Bebop. Outstanding.
