I'm guessing Donald isn't getting the initial role he had hoped for with this reboot
Obviously not especially since they literally just introduced an accurate spiderman. They gotta let that play out first, Donald will probably be Venom which is just as good imo. If he is playing Venom it'll be interesting to see if he has to build up his body to match the character.

Totally agree with your train of thought. I just hop it is something more then a little one off miner secondary villain role. I just think the homie Donald Glover is more talented then that. and he gets a chance to shine in a blockbuster franchises and jump start his movie career .

I'm not a big fan but I trust your judgement on that one. I'm sure they wouldn't cast a name that big and announce it without giving him something real to do

Sony still has the rights to Venom. I think he might be one of Peter's teachers
Donald Glover is a grown ass man there's NO WAY he'll be a classmate of Peter's and I highly doubt he'd be Brock, I actually doubt Brock would be included in this first movie
Fully agree on both points. Maybe he's Ben Urich..actually nope can't be. Maybe he's another daily bugle reporter or he's Robbie Robertson
