Toby was better than Garfield, but yeah, this guy was sick.

Marvel did the character right.

Do you guys think he made the right decision turning down Tony Stark?

Also, they changed up some characters' ethnicity (MJ and Flash), but hey, I'm all for minorities taking the roles of white people lmao

This is why I think the marvel cinematic universe will last forever. They still have characters like Miles Morales and Kamala Khan to introduce.

I took a bathroom break during the ferry scene but there wasn't any direct reference to his spider-sense anywhere was there?

I actually fully brought the Zendaya not being MJ propaganda going in but I saw the reveal coming a mile away. Just because they changed her name to Michelle doesn't mean sh1t. I half expected the movie to end with her calling him "Tiger"

you know how marvel plants seeds in all their movies. So with this one i meant sinister six jumpin off w/ the mac & toomes confrontation in jail, His enemies + Aunt May knowing about his secret which, if he goes off world in infinity war and gets the venom suit, means = a possible combination of the OG venom + Back in Black storylines, The Miles Morales connection, etc.


I was mad they killed OG Shocker though. Bokeem shocker was a dry ass switchup for no reason

It was looking like she might be, cause MJ in almost every iteration chases a modelling career at some point, and Zendaya is a model in real life, so it seemed like they were building up to her glow up

Sure did. Peter isn’t a team guy.

Tobey wasn’t better but lol let’s not get into that.

And they didn’t change MJ’s ethnicity. They hustled is by creating a new character and giving her the nickname MJ even though she’s not Mary Jane Watson. Don’t fall for their pump fake man. Flash and Liz got their ethnicities changed and I was all for it

I finally watched this twice over the weekend on demand..
two things I didn't like..

He called her May instead of Aunt May.. being old school that irked me.. '
and the What the Fu.... line seemed fake.. it just seems like her line was actually what the f... instead of saying the word and cutting it in editing.. and she waited for a cue to say it..

other than that.. dope flick... it felt like I was watching a live action Spiderman cartoon .. somewhere in between the 90s animated and spectacular with a hint of his amazing friends...

I just felt there should've been more of the "u" in the cut .. that's why I thought it was fake
