Just finished it. I enjoyed more than I thought I would. I like the homage to the 60's cartoon in the beginning.

Zendaya :scust:. I don't know why y'all gas her up so much. :scust:She's not all that with makeup and seeing her without makeup throughout the movie. :scust: Imagine waking up to her everyday. :scust:Plus she was annoying in the movie. I wanted to throw my drink at the screen every time she appeared. :scust: Plus she's going to be you know who in the sequels. :scust:
Zendaya's character isnt supposed to look good.

Dallas, Texas but living in Houston, Texas
Distributes means its a sony picture as far as who's going to make all the money basically lol. Like Disney distributes Marvel movies even though Marvel is a studio. Think of it as Def Jam and the Roc. Yeah the Roc made money but Def Jam made more money except in this case, Marvel sees no money from it. Sony paid for it, they get the receipts. Marvel handles the creative end

I don't like how Stark's technology was so rampant throughout the movie. Peter came up with a lot of the technology he uses in the comics but they made him to reliant on Stark Tech.

Keaton was good as The Vulture. Best villain in the MCU. I was actually rooting for him because of his justification.

Laura Harrier

Holland was great as Spider-Man/Peter Parker but Tobey will always be Spider-Man to me. :mjcry: This is not a knock against Holland because he was good as Spider-Man. Very likeable and I look forward to seeing him in future movies.

The after credit(s) was unnecessary IMO. It could have been left in the movie. I didn't stay for the second one.

Overall I really enjoyed the movie. Definitely in the top five of Marvel movies. Second best Spider-Man movie behind Spider-Man 2. I rate this 8/10.
:jawalrus:I like the way that sounds but to be fair that's not saying much as Spiderman 1 was bland, the 3rd was embarassing and the mark webb ones were forgettable

Btw what's your top 5 MCU movies

I liked it,didn't love it. It's not the best MCU film and it's not the best Spidey film, buts its definitely a solid worthy first film.

I was let down by vulture. His "origin" was laughable.

he literally goes from worker to bad guy in 1 fukking scene

Keaton is good and does his best, and his monologue and scene in the car was well done but there's really nothing much to the character. Cool design though.

Holland is good,I like him. He's better than tobey don't think I'll put him above Garfield yet but he can definitely be there for me.

I did not care for the suit dynamic. It just felt like iron man jr. Not a fan. I will say aesthetically it's grown on me a lot.

god I was so relieved peter didn't accept that suit at the end. Jesus christ that thing was ugly.
.

Some of the cgi was shaky as hell. He looked so weightless and fake in parts.

Flash was fukking AWFUL. Huge miscast.

I loved Peters friends. Michelle was fukking great,so was Ned. I really enjoyed the humour of the film. Marvel can be really over bearing but thus film all the jokes felt natural. They weren't shoe horned in,they just flowed very nicely within the story dynamic

The big climax action scene at the end
it takes places at night on a plane and I don't know if it was because of the 3d but man some of the action while vulture and Spidey fought on the plane was very poor,I could barely make out what was happening

The directing and film making was just there,by the numbers and mechanical.

Overall it was good.

I'd rank it as my 4th favorite Spidey flick.

Yeah. They just handle the creatives and Sony keeps the profits. I was happy they went outside their normal stable of writers though and let some other guys handle it, including the director and his writing partner. Rarely do you see a flick with 6 damn writers turn out good

I didn't see him as a bad guy in that typical sense breh and neither did he. So I don't think from a creative standpoint it was a jump to go from his first job, which was scavenging battle sites for cash to his other job of the same thing, just using hi tech shyt to do it. He's an arms dealer who sells to guys like him and much like a drug dealer says he's just feeding his family so he goes from seeing someone get rich to doing hand to hand shyt. We just skipped the hand to hand and fast forwarded to when he was Avon Barksdale in his prime.
