1. Sony's funding and distributing.
2. Marvel Studios is making this movie (wrote, produced)
3. Sony gets the revenue and
4. Marvel gets to use Spidey in the MCU.

Trailer was very derivative I did chuckle at the car scene tho. Bit of a dicey move to have stark there for (this new) spideys maiden voyage could be overshadowed. But then again maybe they are going for some fanboy/apprentice dynamic.


Ps I don't know why ppl keep bringing up guardians to disparage this, the fuk has one thing got to do with the other

Cool trailer. I think what I liked most about it was the "teen" vibe I got from it. The other Spiderman movies were always grown people playing kids while this one is finally a teen Spidey instead of some 30 year old.
Keaton was sufficiently menacing in the one scene he was in unmasked and I like the look of the Vulture.
There was just a skad too much RDJ for my tastes but I get why he is all over the trailer since he is Marvel's money machine.
