I am kinda hoping that Mysterio is really a hero from another version of Earth but ends up going the same route they had Baron Mordo go with him turning evil later on cause I don't see Nick Fury falling for any his trickery so easily...

Strangely I'm not a big fan of multi-verses either. Spiderverse did it right but besides that?

Even if it’s easier to introduce x men, I just can’t fukk with a multiverse at all, way too messy and way too easy to fukk up an already established tight knit story (for the most part) that has been successfully built across many films

The x men films were were never great anyway (except Logan) but they absolutely destroyed any kind of connection or continuity in that series when they added separate time lines and universes.

The Fantastic Four are incoming. Alternate realities and a lot of hokey science are coming with them. So they might as well get ahead of it.
