She's in her 50s. She just looks good for her age.
Also it makes sense, because this spiderman is younger, Aunt May is still 30 years older than him. That was probably the same age gap of the all the other aunt may's considering the other actors were like 30.

I'm just glad Marissa decided to eat a sandwich this time. She was too skinny in Homecoming. She was looking right again in this one :shaq:

If only Angelina would hit up the Golden Corral. :mjcry:

I saw this the other week. I enjoyed it :ehh: I don’t really have any thoughts to add. It’s not the Spider-Man I’m used to necessarily, but they’re carving a new legacy of the character with these films and this was the best of the Tom Holland Spidey movies yet. I thought the locations were gorgeous and the Mysterio illusion scenes were as fun to watch as they were disorienting (in a good way). Really looking forward to seeing where this version of Spider-Man goes and how he changes and grows over time

I was talking to my wife about this movie. She's into these superhero movies like I am although she didn't read comics like I did growing up. She liked it, but she said it reminded her of those DC CW shows Flahs/Arrow. Entertaining, but wasn't the same quality as the last few MCU movies that have been really good starting back with Black Panther, Thor Ragnarok, Infinity 1 & 2.

There's definitely something about this current Spidey version that seems underwhelming to me. Maybe it's just too soon for a reboot. Garfield's Peter/Spidey version was pretty good to me. The stories weren't great but he did a good job as Peter/Spidey. Holland is meh. There's a lack of chemistry between him and MJ too.

I'm also not digging the storyline of Spidey replacing Iron Man. Seems like that was a pretty overwhelming theme of the movie and Marvel seems to be pushing it. Iron Man was the flag bearer of the company and while Spidey is iconic character, they should let it happen organically as far as who's going to take the flag for the company.

The Tobey Maguire Spidey 1 & 2 are still the best Spiderman movies.

He don't even call her Aunt May, either.

He calls her May.

Calls her may in the comics too.

I'm bothered he doesnt call her Aunt May... maybe i'm old school but that irks me.. age gap doesnt mater.. its just the way i was raised

i remember in elemetary school in 4th grade my classmate was calling his uncle (in second grade) uncle so and so...

on a side note if SM: Home 3 comes out in 2021/22 is that enough time for May to hire Matt?

I think it would be, it was 2 years unless I’m wrong, but I’d be extremely surprised if it was Netflix Matt played by Charlie Cox, In between not having any kind of reference to the mcu in the last 2 or 3 years worth of seasons and marvel hiring actors for upcoming films that have already played completely different people in the tv shows (cottonmouth/blade) It seems pretty clear that the Netflix Marvel shows are no longer considered “canon” with the MCU like they were in their first seasons

OK.. I da quick goggle search...
says 2 years after cancellation... sooo now the question is .. can they use him and hold off on the release .. or do they have to wait before they even use him.... nov. 2018 means nov 2020 possibly jan 1, 2021 .. it could work if they release SM in 2022
