I think it's pretty clear the Eternals are a big part in how they are bringing the mutants in. But who knows at this point.

yeah outside of hulk, Avengers were mostly b-c list heroes for the majority of the 90's and early 2000's.. It wasn't until civil war that they started blowing up again, and the subsequent movies. Thats why you gotta give even mroe credit to marvel for making not only them pop but, ant-man, guardians, black panther etc. the movies are so good they made all of them A-list names.
meanwhile dc is still churning out batman and superman films every 3 years
