Noticed a few things after re watching

Both naevia and Crixus killed by the same sword that they brought into battle. That tiberius sword such bad luck

Spartacus took a spear through his Achilles

Caesar didn't even best naevia he wildly swung his sword and caught her neck artery.

I gotta agree with you on that. It has potential, but it really was dull. shyt was slow and nothing really stood out to make you wanna see any future episodes. People complained about the early episodes of Spartacus, but they were at least decent episodes with action and things happening. Davinci's first episode was weak as hell. It definitely ain't seeing the Vikings or the Borigas which takes place in a similar time. Those had good 1st episodes.

So after someone spoiling the ending on Facebook last week, I made it a point to catch up ASAP. Never missed an EP but slacked the past 6 weeks. Had to do a marathon of EPs 4 to 10. Not gonna recap everything (will have to check some of the reactions in here during certain scenes ) but will focus on the final two EPs.

Crixus 'The Hitman' Gaul.. didn't think he'd go out decapitated but the irony of him dying by the same sword.

Not one to get choked up over TV (Scoffield dying in Prison Break is prob an exception) but Gannicus and Sparty going out the way they did..

I knew Spartacus had to die but held on to hope that atleast Gannicus would survive like the G he is. He never looked vulnerable the entire series so to see him crash down to his knees surrounded by Caesar and the guards did me in. The crucifixion segueing into cheers in the arena was a fitting end though. That entire final 30 minutes was some of the most intense TV I've watched.

Liam definitely came around and the transition to show Andy was very cool of Starz. They really put it down, I almost forgot that this wasn't an HBO show

I don't think I can fuk with starz like that anymore, there is nothing they can come out with that can touch Spartacus. Starz fukked up there money maker could have went a extra season or 2 to properly develop stories more to some of their minor characters.

I think we were lucky to get four seasons out of it if you include the prequel. There was only so much else they could to with Sparty. But i feel your pain.

They're gonna have to do something cause its back to irrelevancy for em now that Spartacus is over. I think someone mentioned it earlier but a Spartacus-like version of Hannibal would be piff. Shiet there's a ton of historical events they could pick from but they need to stay on that track now that they found it.

I think Starz should chill on the Spartacus-lite type of shows. Develop something else because a Spartacusesque show right now would be too soon and would probably not be received well.

Looking back though, I have to laugh at one thing. Of all the unprocted sex going on per episode we sure got minimal babies being born - I mean the one chick that got knocked up in the last few EPs, I don't even know who she was banging
