They crucified my nikka?
They threw spears through my nikka?
Brehs, I...I don't know how to feel right now. Emotions aside, that was an amazing piece of television right, there. I've been vocal about not feeling this new Spartacus, but he put on the performance of his fukking life this episode. Seeing him run towards Crassus at the top of that hill I was finally ready to call dude Spartacus. When Crassus caught the sword blade and was bringing it around I thought that was the end, just like the gladiator he killed in the early episodes
I would have been tight if they let him be killed in a fair fight. shyt, the way he ate those spears and was ready to die with his head held high
I really didn't think I'd feel anything when he died, but I was choked up brehs.
And they capped it off with the Bringer of Rain entering the afterlife under the raindrops
I was tight as hell that they let a mob of nikkas, led by that booty pillaged Ceasar, take out my boy Gannicus. But if he couldn't make it out alive there really wasn't a better way for him to be sent off than envisioning himself basking in glory in the arena
And we even got the signature smile/laugh
Gannicus was always gonna be the prototypical tragic character. Won his freedom, dragged back into a fight that wasn't his own, fought for himself until he was convinced to embrace the greater good and died in the process. But that's as happy an ending as a God of the Arena can ever ask for.
Brehs, I was all good, a little choked up at times, but all good until the fukking credits. I'm seeing all of the characters that made this show the classic that it is and then they show Andy at the very end. That did it for me brehs
I don't know where I rank this show, but it doesn't matter. There'll never be anything else like this on Google Earth Nas. R.I.P to the Gods
