I don't know if yall notice the pirate black dude that was trying to get at Nasir (guess that makes him a real butt pirate) and got the beats put on him by Fagron is Castus. Castus was supposed to be a Roman gladiator (like Varro) who escaped House Batiatus with Sparty, Big O, Crixus, and Gannicus.

gannicus has gone soft, i remember when that chick he met in that brothel was up on the wall crucified and he was like

it was smart that mira died cuz everyone else hsa become a simp, crixus always worring about naevia, agron and his fakkit lover, gannicus and that blonde.

and smh at naevia chick was nothing last year and suddenly she can take on romans and other dudes

Are we forgetting Ashur took out a whole crew of Romans by his self. And he was the lowest ranked of them all. Plus had a bum knee and years off from training

Which also makes me think that great scene from season 1 where Spartacus beats them all with a wooden sword.....

Because they make these Romans horrible. Now I know this really happened. And that the Romans lost constantly to slaves, men, women and children. But my god. It's like these dudes are fighting blindfold or something

don't know where else to post this, but i JUST got onto the show, 5 episodes into season 1. the way the dude had his wife killed after promising to reunite them was fuuucked up

Romans were trained to fight as a unit, in a formation, etc. They're tacticians, strategists, generals, etc. They sucked in hand to hand combat in comparison. They'll never be able to fight a gladiator straight up. Its kinda like Alexander & Achilles. Achilles would murder Alexander in a fair fight. It wouldn't even be worth watching But, I doubt Achilles could lead an army against Alexander and win.


Spartacus was able to lead an army against Glaber and win because well.....Glaber isn't shyt and was an arrogant prick who underestimated them. Crassus is the real deal, Ceasar is the real deal......they been living this war shyt while Sparty is learning on the go. Its not gonna end well for him
