if theres one thing i dont like about seasons following prequel + s1 is the insistence on female fighters

Naevia apparently has been taking training from Crixus which I guess explains how she beat down that inexperienced dude that got killed in the last episode.
Doesn't really bother me since dude Naevia was beasting on for the spar was a red shirt (characters set up to die). As for fighting women on screen I've got no problem seeing that. Seen it in several shows where women CAN'T defend themselves and have to rely on men all the time.
It would be more unrealistic if the show didn't establish that Spartacus and his generals didn't get the women and kids hardbody enough to defend themselves. They'd be babysitting the rescued slaves all throughout the rebellion. A total load and with Rome having the numbers you can't afford to hide the wife and kids or tell them to go to the kitchen. Everybody gotta put in work. I think they touched on the matter in Vengeance, Spartacus had plans to make them effective.

like the other dude said, its pretty realistic seeing as how everybody had to defend themeselves....now as for women fighting on the show in general i was cool with mira sexy ass doing it last season and the blonde chick now cuz they looked natural doing it and dont come off corny, same cant b said about new naeviadidnt wanna do that gladiator training

Watched the new one yesterday...Crassus son is very weak and is gonna be humilated. Knew that slave girl had more to her than she looked..the son getting mad at Ceasar over her and now Crassus fukking her on the side and not giving a damn about his wife.
