Them two bald nikkas (boss breh and sidekick breh) look just alike. I was confused af.
It's a cool show. I watch it when I eat or do other stuff. Good background show.

Thinking back, South Side is literally what the Barbershop series tried to be. Barbershop (the series) tried too hard to be what the movie was and take a turn in its own way by making changes of what the movie had set up with all the south side Chicago shenanigans & it did not pay off to say the least.

The only thing that could make it hit more home for me is it they had a character called “Cripple Chris”

Cripple Chis is hood famous, damn near a ghetto celebrity. One think that comes across everyone’s mind once in a while is WHY Cripple Chris called Cripple Chris?? Was he shot? was he hit by a car? Was he stomped in the spinal cord when he was getting jumped in a gang? Or is he suffering from a condition that caused him to be wheelchair bound? That’s the big mystery cause it’s all kinds of legends of how Cripple Chris got crippled. Even the ole drunk from the liquor store who always begging for loose squares and flips em for a profit chimes in ‘Polio. See young man, let me tell you how Cripple Chris got in that there wheelchair... it was Polio. And his momma couldnt get him the medical help he needed.... and that’s how he got that name.’
The people standing around are just staring not sure of what to say... IF they should say anything at all... the old drunk then offers loose squares. After getting declined he goes in another direction. Towards the end it is come to that there are literally different versions depending on who tells it of how Cripple Chris got crippled. Episode ends inconclusive. No one will ever know how Cripple Chris got crippled.
