Took my kids to see this yesterday. I admit I didn't care to see this flick at all even being I grew up on the first 2 games. I was a sega head.

It's watchable though. Some of the jokes are bad and the quicksilver rip off scenes are still just good enough.

Jim Carrey teters on the edge of pure annoyance but holds back just enough.

This is one of those flicks that does just enough.

I would be dope if the next movie loosely adapts Sonic 3 and knuckles. Sonic and Tails racing to get the chaos emeralds before Eggman while getting pulled up on by Knuckles would be a fun watch.

depends on what you watched growing up...he was goofy in one of the Sonic cartoons, the weekday one.

never saw the other shows, so can't comment on those...and the games only really showed him as a "cool" guy
