Sonic's design is much better but why not set the entire film in his world

Because this is cheaper.

And once more, the best part about this movie is Jim Carrey going full 90s for his performance as Robotnik.

Okay, this might turn out to be the GOAT VG movie. Trailer was great.

But is there a comparison to the OG Sonic look? He looks pretty much the same in both trailers.
