There's literally no TV shows on him anymore or anything and all these kids know about him.. I know the 90s shows were on Netflix tho..... I learned to never sleep on legendary characters

I showed some kids at my school the fight scene from a Marvel movie earlier and they thought Korg (the rock dude from Thor: Ragnorok) was Thing from Fantastic 4..... I be shocked they're aware of stuff like that cuz to me, F4 isn't as popular in the last 5 years as it was in the 90s or early 00s..... which kinda brings me back to the Sonic thing

Batman, Sonic, Mario, Donkey Kong, Terminator, Predator, Scorpion, Freddy, Jason, etc will always be known to ppl somehow some way even if they end up under the radar

They basically saw some of these other movies having goofy dissonant music in the trailers and decided to just toss literally any song in there without a thought to how it would relate to anything on an ironic level.

eh, there was a sonic show that just ended in 2017...plus he's in games still...Smash, Mania/Forces, Olympics in 2020...he never really left.

And wait there’s a new MARIO/Sonic Olympics? I might cop. I always copped cuz that’s the closest we’ll get to a Sonic and Mario game.... but it’s hilarious how they make Sonic run on foot in those games at the same speed as everyone else
