i wonder if we'll eventually get a Mario/Sonic movie. We finally got games (albeit Olympic ones, but official games nonetheless)

Big Sonic fan growing up but I didn't watch the 1st movie before seeing this.
Loved this movie, had me rollin the entire time.
Jim Carrey was one of my favorite celebs growing up so seeing him give a CLASSIC comedic performance in this made my day forreal.
They gotta back up the BRINKS truck and pay him whatever he wants for the 3rd installment.

They should’ve been made an actual crossover platform game outside of the Olympic stuff. A Mario/Sonic crossover half 2D/half open world where Bowser and Eggman team up would be dope
and Sega is slackin.. Sonic is popular AF right now. I work at a elementary school and all these kids talk about is Sonic, Knuckles and Shadow
SEGA needs to make a Dreamcast 2 for the culture
2022 seems like it's going be Sonic's year though (Sonic 2 movie, Sonic Origins, Sonic Frontiers and Sonic Prime)
Lets keep it a buck, Sonic as a character and the Sonic universe >>>> Mario, DK, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro and all the other mascot type characters lore wise

This was a chore to get thru. A very dumb unnecessary wedding subplot which almost turned this into a different movie. The writing got really bad when they made it to that Siberian lodge and so did the laughs. I was able to tolerate part 1 but this one was a bore especially that last act. But I did it for the kids.
