Uganda is even worse....the UGX is 3,181 to $1 US.....NGN is now 300 to $1....
The orphanage we work with there can literally eat for over a week off less than $20, and they have about 40+ children there.

That was great what they did with that. That slippin into darkness was the perfect song to close out the ep.![]()
Yeah man....as much as this country sucks, our dollar goes a long way in poverty-stricken countries and it makes you a bit more appreciative for how you live.Damn breh...
I was working in the energy sector in Nigeria for about a year...with EDUCATED Nigerians with good heads on their shoulders...families... responsibilities...and even after only making $400 USD PER MONTH...I was still getting paid a lil bit more than my coworkers (they were making roughly $360 monthly)
Mind you...that $400 paid for my 2 cell phones... transportation...food... entertainment...haircut/hygiene...etc...for the whole month..and even though some of my coworkers were upset that this Yankee nikka came in their office and got paid a lil more than them...they were living comfortable too...feeding they families...saving for weddings...
This was in 2016 mind you. shyt crazy.
I would definitely believe that.Yeah man....as much as this country sucks, our dollar goes a long way in poverty-stricken countries and it makes you a bit more appreciative for how you live.
If you had $500 in, say, Andhra Pradesh in Southern India, for example, you could likely stay in a 5-star hotel and eat like a king for a MONTH (we work with a ministry there, too).
Just DMed it to you, fam.link ?
I'd love to send some money to help that orphanage out
