Always suspect when they don't show a major character's death on screen, but given what we know of his character I don't see how they could explain him being alive in a way that makes sense.Its about that time, show has had a great run. The last season was suspect, but they redeemed themselves the last 2 episodes
For what its worth, I'm still not 100% sure that Franklin's pops is really dead

I think the main issue with Louie and where she fukked up is the timing, I think maybe a year or 2 down the line she probably could of set Franklin up and let him know she wanted to be on her own he would of been cool with it. Or based off the fact Franklin was pretty much going legit. She would of more than likely took over but she did it way too grimey
My predictions....or should I say, my plot wishes:
Franklin goes scorched earth when they kill his baby momma (she accidentally dies in a shootout).
ONE of the following characters comes back and has a major impact on the storyline:
• Lucia
• Melody
• Alton
Teddy gets busted by the government and thrown in prison. Death is too easy for him...he needs to be humiliated and made an example of. Further, it's more fitting that he gets betrayed and alienated by the same government he went so hard for.
EVERYBODY dies except Franklin....EVERYBODY (except Leon and Wanda...see below).
Franklin goes to prison instead. Too easy to kill Franklin....he has to live with all the regrets and painful memories for the rest of his life. That's far more devastating, seeing South Central - the place where he grew up - devolve into what it is now and knowing he had a major role in that deterioration happening because of his own greed....and also knowing that he destroyed the lives of his entire family and loved ones for the same reason.
Leon and Wanda make it to Africa.....because SOMEBODY has to have a happy ending, and Wanda already been through hell. So she goes there and gets treated like a queen, while Leon becomes a leader in some capacity.
