Just finished the finale :wow:

Reading all the comments and agree it's fitting, but still sad to see Franklin go out like that :mjcry:. Series really was the rise and fall of Franklin Saint. C/S on Damson acting in this episode being :whoo:, with it being a downward spiral for the character as soon as the episode started.

Leon and Wanda doing okay :ehh:

Louie hiding out with the horses :bryan:

Oso back on his luchador ish.

Man this ending was hard to watch. Saint didn't deserve that. Watching the finale I had hope something was gonna shake for saint.

This all Teddy fault. Crashed into Frank, maniped him into selling dope. Hella dope get sold then you steal the money he made for services rendered. Just like a cac to wanna knock a brotha down.

Glad Leon Wanda and Oso made it.

If i remember correctly Kevin was born in 64 according to his toombstone so i assumed he and Saint are the same age. Boyz was filmed in 90 so yea that puts him at about 26 or 27 at the oldest :mjcry:

Man thought the CIA agent that kidnapped him and had him sell crack to his own community to fight Communism, was going to be coming over to his crib with his family to BBQ, talk about the Lakers games and how their wives spend so much on designer clothes. :gucci:
Dude, you gotta understand how people thought in the '80s. This is before the internet made everybody all knowing and cynical.

A lot of young people were largely apolitical and a lot more naive, even a lot a Black people.

They eitner didn't know about the CIA or thought old heads like Alton were crazy for talking about "conspiracies" with the Panthers.

Even stuff like COINTELPRO wasn't mainstream, it was some "conspiracy" shyt crazy nikkaz like Professor Griff or something would be talking about.

A White dude from the CIA wouldn't automatically be the horrific figure to him then as it is for us now.

The irony of calling this DA an Uncle Tom when you sold crack to your community for years and killed a black cop who simply wanted to protect his community :wow:
Again with the lionization of a guy who works for the biggest White supremacist gang in L.A., the LAPD :francis:
