I don't think that's it - I think it's to show how far Jerome has fallen. Also, note the looks of disgust and shock on the people around him. He's going to lose a lot of respect for that - not that it'll matter, of course, but Jerome has a code and now he's broken it. Even killing Khadijah (a woman) arguably had legit reasons to it. But

I think it's kinda sexist to blame Louie for everything. She deserves a lot of blame (particularly the mess she got into with the dirty cop), but the reason Teddy even decided to start selling directly to her was because Franklin couldn't keep his shyt under control.

Louie gets more hate than Leon, who - I can't stress this enough - murdered a fukking CHILD. It was Louie who got Franklin hooked up w/Claudia in the first place! Yeah, she's out of control, but no worse than anyone else. Franklin was fukking up and Louie wanted to break away - nothing wrong w/that. But she went about it the wrong way. Trust TEDDY? bytch is crazy. And Unc is just a tagalong w/no vision. Everything Franklin said at the diner was right. (He earned those pimp hand licks, though.)

It's point of no return now. Just like House of the Dragon. Even w/a king at King's Landing and a queen on Dragonstone, there was still a chance at reconciliation riiiiiight up until Vhagar and Aemond One-Eye made a Scooby snack of Rhaenyra's son. After that, it HAD to end in blood. The same is gonna apply here. All signs point to Unc, but Cissy might be the surprise death...I think in the end, Louie will be the last one standing.

I thought what Unc said at the sit down was right though. Yeah Franklin made them a lot of money, but while causing unthinkable amounts of suffering and tearing the family apart. Look how happy they were at the beginning of the show.

Ultimately though, this is all downwind of Teddy who abused his power as a CIA agent to do evil things.
