Good episode but nobody was rapping like that in the 80s

ehh, that would be too contrived especially after his girl last season being the opps plus melody flipping...i could see this new chick sowing discord between the crew and getting frank to further distance himself from louie, etc or outing his mom and her move against teddy. but her being a cop would be cheap, esp since louie already got a cop storyline
@Lucky_Lefty knows he's dead wrong talking about Cissy might be a mole......you know you could have used a different word
RAKIM IS THE GOD EMCEE OF THE UNIVERSE/GALAXY
Franklin gf growing on me. She’s definitely homelybut the hairstyle does her no favors. She’s a natural haired type of girl. And I’m sure her casting is to show Franklin wants a girl like his moms.
This customer at my job rn looks like Teddy. I’m glancing over to look at him every few mins like![]()
Wasn’t even thinking of it like that in the moment bruh lol@Lucky_Lefty knows he's dead wrong talking about Cissy might be a mole......you know you could have used a different word
Jerome is the wild card to watch in all of this. nikka just trying to keep the peace. He making me sick though letting Louie get him into everything
I noticed that - flow was too advanced and it ain't Cali style, the flow is East coast. What do you think is going to happen to this rapper kid, what's the angle?Good episode but nobody was rapping like that in the 80s![]()

But West Coast style is an evolution of a particular east coast track. Ice-T was using Schoolly D’s flow from “PSK” to make “6 In The Morning” which later inspired Ice Cube on “Boys In The Hood”.
Although I do agree the style of flow on that track last night was a bit advanced for the early 80s I know there were some MCs doing advanced flows early on. I’ll have to dig for examples because I’m drawing blanks at the moment, but I remember hearing a Melle Mel track from back then that blew my mind recently because I thought he only had one speed.
