Cut from the same cloth as Saint taking out Rob, this is Cissy trying to stop that rain

She might win the battle with Teddy but losing the war feels inevitable :sadcam:

Louie is gonna "Skyler White" this situation.

Making moves behind everyone's back, only for it to inevitably backfire.

What you mean

The convo between Leon and Franklin. It’s a dialogue within the community on if the things that brings riches to a few are worth it if harms us all.

Is dealing crack worth it if it destroys the community? If it doesn’t afford more Black people freedom?

Is this show worth it if it’s “glorifying” drug dealers? Is it worth depicting that pain if it’s for entertainment? Is there more to it than that.

That’s how I took it :ehh: those things are parallel. There was a few 4th wall breaking things in this ep including the skateboarder rapper who magically knew everything in the hood and retold the events perfectly. He’s a stand in for the audience.

imo :yeshrug:

The rappin dude was Nas. Witnessing everything from the roof.

What was the line about Jerome that got him upset?

Who was the latino dude?
I missed the line that caught his attention but the bar about Franklinnns xyz lil Tiana (Skully's daughter) was blatant

Jerome definitely heard the talent though. He's gonna sign/manage him
