Yall nikkas just hating and nitpicking on the show cuz it's based in LA......about drug dealers in the 80s. This season has been outstanding. Yall wouldnt say anything like this if it was Sopranos or another white show.
shyt's weird how it dropped off. It's a Billions level drop off writing/quality wise. idk if it's cuz of the pandemic or what. Wire's Season 2 is generally the least favorite/most boring season for people, but the quality of the writing is still there imo.
Im hoping this isnt the last season, they need another to make good and give it a proper sendoff.

This is always hilarious to me. Niccas making shyt up to try and justify their subjective takes. No one knows what exactly Singleton's vision was or when his supposed input on the script ran out.
People want to be so too cool for school that they start saying shyt like this it's annoying. Oh when did the person we assume had input on series left? Oh that's when it fell off.
Season 6 of GOT is best season of that show but people still group that with the rest of the shyt afterwards because than they couldn't get in their elitist "it started to fall off without the book material" bag. It's so fukking weird to me.

I get where you coming from, but the drop in quality(not only this show but any show that has a drop) had to come from somewhere. Whether it's a key person no longer being involved, running out of ideas on where to take the story, something. Looking at the IMDB, most of the writers have been there since the start.
GOT: I never read the books so I never cared for that argument of the first 5 being the best. The dropoff for me was the season Littlefinger died. How they got there was shytty imo. Reports of DnD rushing stuff because they were tired of GoT and wanted to do SW and their next show didnt help either.
