I think I saw an anachronism in this episode. Franklin's house had a Nintendo NES set up. That didn't come out in the US until Christmas 1985, but we definitely didn't time jump THAT far.

This show really IS becoming one of the best shows currently on. And I kind of hesitate to recommend it, because, to be honest, the first season was just "OK".

I feel like this episode was this show's version of Breaking Bad's "Crawl Space" episode. The true point of no return.

Yoooo, every time I recommend it, said person always comes back saying they cant get through season 1..lol

I be straight up begging them to push thru..lol

This show is Epic.

What’s funny is, Breaking Bad was the same way for me. I actually dropped it and my boy begged me to make it to season 3.

Man, I couldn't catch this episode live...due to the fact I was at the casino longer than expected. :sadcam:

I started with $100 and dwindled down to my last $15 best...until some old-schooler with a Steve Harvey hat went on a tear at the crap table.

I'm walking out with $450 (as we speak). Some quick post-birthday money:win:
***Update***

I just hit the lottery on my lunch break...

$250 - no joke

No Whammies!!
its clear to me singleton didn't want to inject la gang politics into this. the gang shyt is there but it aint screaming at you. so far we have clicks from different neighborhoods and communities crossing paths...

There are gangs..they just ain't outright calling them the bloods and crips and having them wear colors

In one scene, Franklin had a neighborhood map with different territories marked out in different colors. I think those represented gangs.
