Looks like Andre watching that crack hoe laid out in the street in the opening scene of this season was a figurative foreshadowing afterall

Another foreshadowing scene is in episode five when Franklin dreamt about getting shot/killed by Andre.

We knew Mel was gonna get hooked on crack because they had to show how the most beautiful people went to complete ruin behind that rock. Wanda's transformation was just the preview with the "hoodrats." The prom queen finna turn into the neighborhood fiend.


If you wanna see a good documentary to remind you how wild crack was in the 80's &90's and the CIA connection, watch this one on Rayful Edmonds, especially the beginning of it. Even as an 80's baby who remembers the start of the Crack Era, it's still mindblowing to think about how we've normalized a "crackhead" and think about it as regular.

Good episode, things are heating up.

• Reed/Teddy seems like a fukk up. The Colombian connection isn't even going to last with that old guy as his partner, he needs to diversify his outlets. It's going to end badly and he is going to fail his mission.
• Andre is just doing too much. Worry about your daughter and collecting your cop checks, damn niqqa get a girlfriend or something a lot of ladies like cops. You out here playing detective and LAPD showing you what's real out here for Black folks. Sit down, this isn't your fight.
• Mel is going to be like a super duper crackehead like that?! Scenes from the next ep look crazy! Sad to see a fine girl go down that rode.
• Avi looks like he is still holding a grudge against dude for pulling a gun on him, I hope Franklin is aware.
• Franklin's pops is a real one, that whole reveal/flashback elevated the show. They really going there and getting more confident in the story they telling. Love it.
• What's going on with Jerome, he back or is he fronting?! He seemed like he bounced back but maybe he is just acting like he did. His scenes were a little weird to me. Would love to see what he was up to back in the day when Franklin's Dad was a Panther.
• Loved the scenes of Franklin studying and researching, very good for the story to show he's not just lucky or on some magic intuition. What he is doing takes work and planning. Black men never get the credit they deserve on TV for showing our intelligence.
• And what dude from the library was talking about is real. The CIA admitted they had a gun that does what he was talking about, so if they have it I'm sure they used it. When/where/on who I wonder? The CIA's Secret Heart Attack Gun

They gonna have to move the money into legit shyt. They got to make it to the point where if frank goes down teddy does too. Teddy is isolated and frank ain’t. He got some movies he can make and he knows who teddy is but teddy don’t know he knows who he is.
