Went on vaca right after last week's ep, now that I'm bored and back to work:
  • I think Franklin gonna lose a crew member or two or three and is going to team up with Man-Boy, they will be cool eventually
  • Franklin just doomed Jerome to tragedy, dude is a live wire, earned his place on the team but wants out, you gotta let him go if his heart isn't in it. Now something terrible is going to happen to him watch. Great scene when they talked Franklin jedi mind tricked him into staying down
  • What is Andre planning? He going to try and lay the murder game down on Franklin?! He's bugging if that's what he is doing. His white superiors/co-workers are going to hang him out to dry.
  • Momma Saint is seeing the change in her son and not liking it. She might bounce on Franklin's ass to.
  • Reed is going to take a massive L to, his baby momma is more loyal to the CIA than him. She gonna double-cross him
  • This whole season is slow but they are setting up fire works for later. I'm like :lupe: right now. Worried for many involved.

agree w/ everything you said outside of it being “slow”

No Whammies!!
ahhhhh.. didnt even dawn on me that I havent seen it.

I can honestly overlook that tho.

I'm not an expert on the time period, but I think the show made an artistic choice to make the pre-crack version of the world seem overly idealistic. Everything was so bright, and sunny, and "small town USA"-ish set to a Yacht Rock soundtrack.

I think they want to set up a big contrast to show how Franklin turns the world into a hellish post-apocalyptic burnt out city.

So they're kind of skipping over the gang problems that already existed.
