It’s amazing how different a match or show can come off depending on who you watch it with.

I was watching with some friends who are were once big fans but are casuals now. They kind of shytted on a lot of stuff I thought was fine, including Brock’s early dominance and NXT people getting offense in.

Also... Flair winning the Rumble seem like it was due simply because it was missing on her resume. Which was gonna happen sooner than later. Vince is dead on making her a 17 time champion and the GOAT woman wrestler even if it's organic or not.

I don't understand how made up accolades makes you a great wrestler. Especially how her mic work ( pause...) is (pause..) awful.

I remember Reigns won to challenge him but that was more than a few years ago

Orton won to challenge bray and Shinsuke won to challenge AJ.... but yeah in the long run you’re righr.. it’s been RR winner vs Brock

That was a terrible experiment in the first place he seemed mismatched from jump and never developed while Philips is pretty good at wwe commentary

Apologies for not being in the thread with yall last night but I was with friends getting lit watching the Rumble plus with the Kobe news I kinda wanted to stay off the web

I liked the Royal Rumble ppv as a whole and here are some of my opinions of last night:

So they bring back Sheamus for his grand return to only stick him in a random pre-show match and NOT in the Rumble Match?

I Like the Andrade/Humberto match, Zelina's facial reactions are some of the greatest

Roman/Corbin was a good brawl match. but this should end the feud

Women's Rumble was cool, the only issues I had was: A. fire whomever thought bringing back Santina Marella was a good idea, B. where the hell was Sasha and C. why have Charlotte win this?!
I didn't care for Bayley/Lacey and that's mainly due to Lacey.... I'm in the opinion that she should STILL be in NXT improving her wrestling skills I don't care for her "mama bear" storyline they got for her. A damn shame they are dropping the ball on Bayley as a face and as a heel.

I like the Strap Match but I was really shocked they had on the normal lights and not the blood red lights as they usually do. Plus I'm still confused on why this needed to be a Strap Match.

Becky/Asuka was a good match. As the resident TSC "Becky Stan" I hope she rolls into WrestleMania and defeats Charlotte.

I'm so glad they let Drew win the Royal Rumble since he was my pick to win. I wasn't feeling the first half of the rumble because I'm just over Brock at this point. After his 13th elimination tying Braun for the elimination record I said to myself "Whomever eliminates Brock NEEDS to win the rumble as well or this was all for nothing" and thankfully they listened. Great to see Edge back and still able to move well in the ring.

I doubt it but I truly hope this Roman Reigns and Baron Corbin feud ends. It hasn't worked out like they wanted it to and there matches haven't been as good as I expected them to be. Time for both men to move on. They've been feuding since October now I believe.

I been to raws, smackdowns, random ppv's and royal rumbles are always good live. I was there in philly when roman and rock got booed out the wells fargo.
