Why did they use so many Attitude and Ruthless Aggression Era women plus the Bellas? They've got like 100 girls down in NXT who can actually go that are either over or impressive.

The women's rumble was better because of the nostalgia factor, the current women damn near botched every move. They didn't give the men legends to add excitement, so they had to rely on storytelling for 60mins. Stephanie truly is the Puff Daddy of professional wrestling now

They could have done all sorts of cool things with it. Let's just say,

- Let Asuka make her choice and she picks Alexa
- Ronda comes out and starts beating the shyt out of all of them knocking Alexa out cold
- Carmella's music hits while Ronda is still throwing down with Charlotte and Asuka outside the ring.
- Carmella swerves the crowd by cashing in on Alexa and immediately runs out through the crowd.

That sets up Asuka vs Carmella and Charlotte vs Ronda.

Raw gains Carmella, Smackdown gains Ronda.

That's not bad but they have plenty of time to set up whatever in the coming weeks and months. The ending was already overbooked and confusing as it was, that would've been way too overkill.
