Incredible main event, and did it in a great fashion.
No kicking out of 25 finishers, everything mattered and the all the near falls felt legit and made you think it could end. They got me to believe Roddy could win, amazing amazing amazing match.
So glad I ordered, aint paid attention to ROH in a long time, bought tix to Field of Honor for the NJPW guys, i just wanted to catch up with the product, so worth the $20.
Quick Review
- Opener was okay, Silas has some good heel work, never seen either of these 2 before.
- Moose and Cedric was a lot better than I expected. Moose is a lot better than I expected and Cedric is a good heel, enjoyed this match a lot.
- Briscoes vs. RPG Vice, the Briscoes are always so entertaining. Very good match and RPG Vice are a good tag team, enjoyed this one a lot, but Briscoes always are great imo
- Castle vs. Cole, a good match, nothing amazing but the Castle character is very entertaining. First time seeing him, very funny gimmick and he's pretty decent in-ring.
- ACH vs. Page, this is where the show started going off track. Page sucked, and ACH was good but i was expecting more. Nothing special, even with the stip of noDQ, one cool table spot and that's all you need to catch. I`m sure ACH is better than he showed tonight, Page just sucked completely
- 4 way tag survival. Way too much going on, just nonstop movement and never slowed down to let you catch up with any of it. Addiction shouldn't be champs, as the finish looked like shyt and they just don't fit in with this grouping of tag teams, old vets are okay but no need for them to hold the gold.
- Match of the year main event. Lethal and Strong were incredible, damn near flawless execution throughout, amazing storytelling, selling, strikes, counters, high flying. Everything that is great about wrestling is in this match, if you're a fan of pro wrestling you cannot miss this.

The production is so damn :fif: it pulls me away from it, makes TNA looks like a wrestlemania production
To me then you`re just looking for reasons to be pulled away.

The enjoyment of wrasslin is having at least 1% suspension of disbelief, when the shyt looks worse then a high school production top to bottom it takes you out the experience

Something so highly produced and clearly a product would lead more to a lack of that suspension of disbelief.
It's okay to not be into it, i haven't watched ROH in years but never was the production the reason why. Sure it isn't great or even up to modern standards but great wrestling and characters that hook you are what matters most. ROH has both of those right now.
